Dear Community:<\/em><\/p>\n As we kick off 2024 with the start of our Winter term at Western, I am filled with pride in our institution. The campus is more and more active and vibrant; the construction of the new student s<\/em>uccess center is progressing; and employees are actively participating in the planning for a sustainable future.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n In the months ahead, we will launch our new strategic plan, one that articulates our core values. This has been a campus-wide process, and the resulting plan will be representative of diverse voices and perspectives. And most importantly, the plan will boldly articulate the principles that make Western a unique and special institution, one that places students at the center of everything we do. So much great work is happening on our campus, but we are just getting started.
