{"id":489,"date":"2015-01-09T12:42:13","date_gmt":"2015-01-09T20:42:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.wou.edu\/westernjournal\/?p=489"},"modified":"2015-01-09T12:42:13","modified_gmt":"2015-01-09T20:42:13","slug":"western-oregon-staff-member-performs-in-dr-dolittle","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wou.edu\/westernhowl\/western-oregon-staff-member-performs-in-dr-dolittle\/","title":{"rendered":"Western Oregon staff member performs in \u201cDr. Dolittle\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<pre>BY JENNIFER HALLEY\r\nCAMPUS LIFE EDITOR<\/pre>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>For this weekend only, Salem\u2019s community theatre, Pentacle Theatre, is presenting the musical \u201cDr. Dolittle,\u201d at Central High School in Independence. <\/p>\n<p>Patrick Moser, interim director of Werner University Center, is one of the performers. <\/p>\n<p>The play is designated as a fundraiser for Pentacle, and according to Moser, all proceeds go to the theatre itself and its future productions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDr. Dolittle\u201d is an extra production by Pentacle and is produced with a limited set. It is based off the books by Hugh Lofting, as well as the Fox movies, starring Eddie Murphy.<\/p>\n<p>The production starts Friday, Jan. 8 at 7:30 p.m., with two performances at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 9.
