MONMOUTH, Ore. – ÀÖ²¥ÊÓƵ is proud to announce its annual tree planting and celebration of trees event on September 27 at noon. This event is part of Western’s recognition as a by the Arbor Day Foundation and is open to the public.
Participants will meet on the west side of the Werner University Center to learn about and celebrate the importance of trees in our environment. The event will feature a short walking tour where participants can learn about the diverse tree species on campus, engage in great conversations, and take part in planting a tree.
