The WOU Alumni Board is excited to announceÌýnew award categoriesÌýthis year. We encourage you to consider who among your peers and past students deserves recognition and submit a nomination byÌýFriday, October 31, 2025.
Alumni Awards Categories:
- Alumni Award of Excellence
- Emerging Leader Award
- Service to the University Award
- Community Impact Award
- Professional Achievement Award
- Lifetime Achievement Award
- Alumni Leadership Award
- Entrepreneurial Spirit Award
- Alumni Volunteer of the Year Award
- Distinguished Alumni Educator Award
- Alumni-to-Staff Achievement Award
Eligibility:
- Must have completed at least 45 credit hours at ONS/OCE/WOSC/WOU (graduate or undergraduate)
- Ineligible candidates include current public office holders, current WOU employees (except for the Alumni-to-Staff Achievement Award, for which WOU employees are eligible), and alumni board members who are less than three years removed from their term.
Nomination Materials:
- Complete the nomination form in full. Incomplete submissions will not be considered.
Submission Deadline:
- Friday, October 31, 2025
- Nominees may be considered for other relevant categories based on their achievements.
Selection & Awards:
- The WOU Alumni Board selection committee will review all nominations.
- Honorees will be notified inÌýDecember 2025.
- Awards will be presented at theÌýAlumni Awards Banquet Dinner on Friday, April 3, 2026.
