David S. Brody Scholarship

Established in 1995 by Dr. Richard W. Woodcock and Dr. Ana F. Munoz-Sandoval, in memory of David S. Brody. Dr. Woodcock is a former faculty member and colleague of David Brody who also taught at ÀÖ²¥ÊÓÆµ.

The David S. Brody Scholarship is one of WOU’s most prestigious awards.

This scholarship covers the cost of tuition, fees, housing and food after all grants and scholarships have paid. Renewal Period: 4 years for incoming freshman/2 years for incoming transfers*

*Students must meetÌýÌýto keep their scholarship over the three/five year period.

Criteria:

  • Bilingual
  • Cumulative GPA of a 3.0 or higher
  • Meet traditional freshman or transfer admissions requirements (Current WOU students not eligible to apply)
  • May not be engaged in post graduate study

Preferences:

  • Members of underrepresented ethnic minority groups
  • First generation college bound
  • Demonstrated financial need
  • Demonstrated strong academic record

In-person services are Monday through Thursday 8am to 5pm and Friday 10am to 5pm. **Walk-in appointments are available on a first-come, first-served basis on the following days/times:

  • Monday, 9:00 am – Noon
  • Monday, 1:00 – 4:00 pm
  • Thursday, 2:00 – 4:00 pm
