A Message from President Peters
Dear Community:
I am happy to announce that we have launched our new strategic plan,ÌýEducation. Innovation. Community., which marks a new phase for WOU. This institution has always sought academic excellence, been committed to community engagement, and worked for the success of students and employees. But now we are leaning into new strategies and directions, articulating with greater clarity just what type of institution we plan to be. A strategic plan is both aspirational and inspirational. It sets a tone and provides a clear framework that the university can use to set objectives and make decisions. In tandem with this, we have also updated ourÌýmission and vision statement and core values (pending HECC approval) to align with our new plan. As we begin this journey, we eagerly anticipate the remarkable progress that lies ahead, propelling our university into a future marked by innovation and unwavering commitment to our community.
Don’t forget, thatÌý is tomorrow, March 5. I wholeheartedly encourage you to explore the fantastic projects awaiting your support. Whether it’s student clubs, campus activities, athletics, or scholarships, you will discover a fund that fuels your passion.
We. Are. Wolves!
